In a world where personal connections and reliability matter, Luis Batrez, the founder of Epic Signature Solutions, has built a business focused on accessibility, trust, and service. Based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, Luis offers mobile notary and remote notary services, bringing convenience to clients who need notarizations in urgent or challenging situations.
Luis is no stranger to dedication and teamwork. With 26 years of service in the Navy, including work on aviation systems like the E-2 Hawkeye, he honed his skills in organizational leadership and attention to detail. These qualities seamlessly transitioned into his entrepreneurial journey, where he aims to bring precision and professionalism to every notary task.
“I’ve always been about helping people,” Luis shares. “Even in the Navy, it was about bringing people together for a common goal. Now, as a notary, I get to continue that, meeting people from all walks of life and helping them navigate important moments.”
Epic Signature Solutions specializes in mobile notary services, catering to clients at their homes, hospitals, or other locations. This approach is particularly valuable for individuals facing emergencies or those unable to travel. Luis also offers remote online notarizations for states that permit digital signatures, providing even greater flexibility.
“It’s about being there when people need you most,” Luis explains. “Notarizations often come up unexpectedly, and I strive to be that reliable resource.”
Though Luis started his business just over a year ago, his emphasis on marketing and customer relationships has been key to his growth. By experimenting with platforms like Google Ads and Yelp, he identifies the best channels to reach clients. He believes in a hands-on approach, testing strategies and building a reputation based on trust and quality service.
“Marketing is critical,” he says. “I’m always looking for ways to improve, whether it’s through ad campaigns or word-of-mouth referrals. The goal is to create a brand that people know they can count on.”
Luis’s commitment to service extends beyond his business. As a first-generation college graduate himself, he volunteers with Braven, a nonprofit that helps students transition from education to the workforce. This cause resonates deeply with Luis, who credits his Navy career with opening doors to higher education and leadership opportunities.
“I want to help others succeed,” he notes. “Whether it’s through notarizations or mentoring, it’s about making a positive impact.”
When he’s not helping clients or volunteering, Luis enjoys fishing, a hobby he has embraced even more since moving to Virginia. He’s also an avid runner, recently completing his 31st half marathon. “Running keeps me grounded,” he says. “It’s a way to challenge myself and stay connected to a community.”
Looking ahead, Luis envisions expanding his business, potentially involving his wife as an official team member. He remains focused on delivering exceptional service and fostering trust within his community.
For those seeking a reliable, professional notary who goes the extra mile—both literally and figuratively—Luis Batrez and Epic Signature Solutions are setting a new standard. For more information about Luis and his business visit his website.
