He spent many days after school watching his mother cook in the kitchen as a housekeeper. She encouraged him at an early age to believe in himself. She told him, “Alfred, you can cook.”
His comprehensive understanding of various dietary needs, from vegan to gluten-free, ensures that every dish is thoughtfully prepared. Brother Alfred moved to Maine in 2017 from Stoughton, Massachusetts. His retirement as a civil rights activist brought him closer to his roots, aligning with the local community’s values. His love for the region’s personality and its residents makes him feel right at home. Brother Alfred’s move to Maine was inspired by his desire to explore Alfred, ME, and to be closer to his father. He cherishes the community’s warmth and strongly connects to its people. Brother Alfred is soon to marry an amazing woman from Uganda and will be adopting her two 4-year-old twins. His daughter is excited to welcome her new siblings and be a big sister. Aside from his culinary passion, Brother Alfred enjoys playing chess and teaches autistic children to become professional players.
5% of daily proceeds go to Brother Alfred’s nonprofit organization, the NSFF (National Saving Fatherhood Foundation), which supports children and families struggling with custody issues. Additionally, Love Daddy’s plans to offer free Philly cheesesteaks to police officers and firefighters on special days and discounts for veterans.
Brother Alfred is an active L.A. Chamber of Commerce and National Black Business Association member. He believes in being involved and giving back to his community.
