Curtis D. Davis is more than just a local entrepreneur. He is an actor, comedian, chef, and visionary—bringing together all his passions to create something truly unique. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Curtis is the founder of Debonair Productions, a creative powerhouse that brings together live events, hospitality, and media in unforgettable ways.

Curtis has been acting since he was seven and spent nearly two decades in Los Angeles pursuing his love for performance. With years of experience in the hospitality industry and a talent for connecting with people, he saw a way to merge all his interests into one business. Thus, Debonair Productions was born.
The company hosts live experiences, creates original lifestyle programming, and is currently producing media focused on cocktails and the restaurant industry. One of its standout upcoming events is The Purple Pop-Up—a Prince-inspired brunch buffet that will debut in St. Louis. With themed food and drinks influenced by the legendary artist, it promises to be as flavorful as it is fun.
Debonair Productions currently operates in both St. Louis and Los Angeles. Curtis envisions his events as platforms for connection—especially for young professionals, students, and creatives looking for community. His goal is to bring people together through meaningful, entertaining, and inclusive experiences.
Entrepreneurship runs deep in Curtis’ family. His grandfather was one of the first Black business owners to open a wholesale candy store in St. Louis, using funds he saved by selling tamales and sandwiches from a cart in Arkansas. Curtis honors this legacy with a strong work ethic and a belief in the power of ownership.
Even as a child, he was working alongside his family when others were out playing. Today, he channels that same energy and dedication into his growing business.

Curtis is not just about showmanship—he’s committed to making a difference. After a tornado struck St. Louis in May, leaving many underserved communities reeling, Curtis began organizing a benefit comedy show. Proceeds from the event will support local youth and elder care centers still providing meals and support despite the devastation.
This initiative reflects his belief that artists should stand up and support their communities. “Support your local artists,” he says. “Even if you can’t attend a show, send them lunch. We need artists more than ever.”
Looking ahead, Curtis plans to focus on getting a physical studio in St Louis together to better serve his business in media. He also plans to open a fine dining restaurant later down the line in St. Louis and bring the city its first Michelin star.
He also dreams of expanding his business into destination experiences, such as “reading getaways” at Lake of the Ozarks, where guests can unplug and reconnect with books and nature.
When Curtis isn’t producing events or cooking up new ideas, you might find him coloring or reading. These simple joys help him slow down and balance the fast-paced life of an entrepreneur. It’s this groundedness, paired with a big imagination, that makes him such a compelling local figure.
With a vision built on passion, legacy, and community, Curtis D. Davis is shaping St. Louis culture one event at a time. To learn more about Curtis and Debonair Productions visit his website
