Derek started his insurance career in 1996 and has been with HealthMarkets since 2014. Originally from Philadelphia, Derek relocated to Florida after college to escape the cold and start a new chapter. Today, he enjoys the warm weather, Jacksonville’s vibrant lifestyle, and especially the local golf courses. “I’m no pro,” he laughs, “but I enjoy playing the game.”
Outside of work, Derek is a self-proclaimed movie nerd who loves all things Marvel, Star Wars, and classic cinema. He’s also a fan of Formula 1 racing, football, basketball, hockey, and video games. His diverse interests make him instantly relatable to clients from all walks of life.
