Walk into Easy Peasy Printing, and you’ll find more than custom tees or engraved charcuterie boards. You’ll find heart. You’ll find a small business rooted in 20 years of craftsmanship, community, and a little corny charm, thanks to its partner and the originator of the name Kelly Smith.
Owner E J Smith and his wife Kelly run Easy Peasy Printing in Alpharetta, Georgia. With services that range from screen printing to embroidery, direct-to-film transfers to laser-engraved goods, their shop is built to serve. But what really sets them apart is their commitment to people over profit.
“A lot of other companies are national. They see clients as numbers,” E J says. “We see them as neighbors.”
While larger screen printing companies churn out orders on autopilot, Easy Peasy Printing is deeply embedded in its community, covering about 25 square miles in Alpharetta and Johns Creek. Their mission is simple: make every order feel personal, every timeline feel respected, and every business they serve feel seen.
Ideal clients? Local business owners who need high-volume, high-quality merchandise every month. Think 200 shirts, 200 long-sleeves, 200 sweatshirts, and 200 hats—delivered like clockwork. E J and Kelly know these clients by name, and more importantly, they understand the hustle behind each order.
E J’s entry into the printing world wasn’t born out of a spreadsheet. It began with his own brand ventures clothing lines that caught attention and inspired people to ask, “Can you do that for me, too?” That organic demand turned a personal passion into a full-fledged business.
“We just needed our name out there,” he says. “Next thing we knew, we were making shirts for others, and the rest is history.”
Now, two years into operating Easy Peasy Printing as a storefront in Alpharetta John Creek, the business is growing year-over-year, thanks to hard work, referrals, and one key driver: community support.
When you ask E J what matters most, he won’t talk about revenue targets or big contracts. He’ll talk about fatherhood.
“That’s the only thing that matters to me,” he says. “We do what we do because we want to show our kids what hard work, ethics, and commitment look like.”
Together with Kelly, who works side by side with him in the shop, E J is building something lasting. Not just for their clients, but for their children.
In a world where flashy marketing campaigns and big-box options dominate the feed, small businesses often get drowned out. But Easy Peasy Printing believes that small businesses supporting other small businesses is the key to true growth.
“The large companies have the reach,” E J admits. “But they don’t have the community ties.”
His advice to potential buyers? Support local.
“That local small business wants to see you win just as much as they want to succeed themselves.”
E J is always evaluating new ways to serve better. He used to volunteer as a junior football coach at a local high school, a role that eventually turned into a paid position. He’s not big on awards or networking groups. His focus remains on the work, the customers, and the family.
Their tagline? It’s just Easy Peasy. Simple, memorable, and fitting.
Whether you’re a small business needing monthly merch or a neighbor looking for custom gifts, E J and Kelly are ready with a smile, a story, and a swift turnaround. After all, they’re not just printing gear—they’re printing trust.
