Owning Her Name, Protecting Your Legacy: Jae B. Lindgren of Legal Goddess Law Group

Legal Goddess - Helping Families Plan for the Future

When Jae B. Lindgren graduated from law school and passed the bar, she had a clear vision for the name of her firm. While meditating, one phrase stood out: Legal Goddess Law Group.

“At first, I dismissed it,” Jae admits. “It felt too bold. I chose Jae B Law because it felt safer and more acceptable. But deep down, I knew I wasn’t fully embracing who I am.”

She wasn’t the only one who had doubts. “People even told me that name wouldn’t work,” she recalls. “They said it was too much, too different. But I realized those voices weren’t my own.”

Legal Goddess - Helping Families Plan for the Future

Life has a way of forcing us to pause. When Jae faced health issues that forced her to step back from work for several months, she returned to meditation. This time, the message was clearer: Embrace who you are. Live boldly. Be authentic.

And so she did.

Today, Legal Goddess Law Group helps families in Sacramento with a focus on something many of us avoid thinking about: estate planning. But in Jae’s hands, it’s not just paperwork. It’s about protection, legacy, and love.

How She Helps Families Plan for the Future

Jae specializes in estate planning that builds generational wealth and ensures peace of mind. She guides families through every stage of life planning, from naming short-term guardians who can pick up your kids from school in case something happens, to creating long-term trusts that preserve assets for decades.

“The main problem we solve is asset protection,” Jae explains. “We help families avoid probate and ensure wealth transfers smoothly from one generation to the next.”

What sets her apart isn’t just her legal expertise. It’s how she practices law.

“I’ll spend two or three hours in a meeting just getting to know a family. I want to understand not only their finances but also their values, vision, and hopes for their children. That way, the documents we create do more than protect assets; they reflect intent.”

She calls it the Nordstrom level of estate planning—high-touch and personal, where clients don’t just sign papers and leave. Jae and her team guide their clients through the process, ensuring every trust is funded properly and every detail is correct.

The Heart Behind Her Work

Jae’s path to law was not typical. She worked as an athletic director and coach at her children’s school, building sports programs from scratch. “Sports teach kids teamwork, patience, and dedication,” she says. “That was always my passion, helping people grow into their best selves.”

Surprisingly, law became another way for her to do that.

During her studies, Jae learned how challenges like lack of planning and financial protection can hurt families for generations. She realized that estate planning could be a powerful tool for change.

“Sixty-nine percent of adults don’t have estate plans. That means millions of dollars get stuck in probate instead of going to the next generation. Imagine if all that money was in the hands of children, families, and communities. It would transform the entire socioeconomic landscape.”

For Jae, this work is personal. She recalls a close friend who lost her parents young and ended up in a painful custody situation that could have been avoided with one document. “If I can prevent even one child from going through that, then every hour I spend is worth it,” she says, the emotion clear in her voice.

Her Sacramento Roots

Jae has lived in Sacramento for nearly her entire life. She graduated from Sheldon High in Elk Grove, is raising her four kids here, and is deeply connected to the community.

“Sacramento feels like a small town wrapped in a big city. We have sports teams, concerts, great food, and the outdoors. It’s the best of everything. And the people are genuinely good.”

She’s building her business the same way she’s lived her life here, focusing on connection, trust, and community. Legal Goddess Law Group regularly hosts free workshops, webinars, and events like Coffee and Counsel or the Legacy Lounge, where families can learn about kids’ protection plans and trusts in a relaxed setting.

“I want people to leave our events with knowledge, even if they don’t hire me. If they go to another attorney, at least they’ll know the right questions to ask. That matters to me.”

Looking Ahead

In the years to come, Jae sees Legal Goddess Law Group becoming a trusted hub for families throughout Sacramento. A place parents turn to after welcoming a new baby, when they start thinking about retirement, or simply when they want peace of mind.

“We take care of our physical health. We need to take care of our financial health too,” she says. “Estate planning is about creating calm in the chaos. It is about knowing your kids will be cared for, your wishes honored, and your legacy preserved.”

And when you talk to Jae, you see it clearly. This is not just her job. It is her calling.

If you have been putting off estate planning, now is the time to start. Reach out to Legal Goddess Law Group, attend a workshop, or schedule a free consultation. Jae and her team are ready to walk with you every step of the way so that what matters most to you will always be protected.
