The name Hidden Dragon Tattoo reflects Julian’s multicultural heritage (he’s half Asian and half Black) and fond memories of watching martial arts films with his grandfather. “Me and my grandfather used to watch a lot of Chinese movies like IP Man and Iron Monkey,” Julian reminisces. This personal connection, combined with his artistic vision, led him to create a studio that’s as unique as his background.
What sets Hidden Dragon Tattoo apart is Julian’s ability to help clients articulate their vision. “Many people come in with no idea what they want,” Julian explains. “We sit together, sometimes for 45 minutes, brainstorming designs that resonate with their stories and personalities.
