She has a bachelor’s degree in applied health sciences from Middle Tennessee State University and is a registered sonographer with the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography). She obtained this designation through specialized training during a 16-month intensive program at Vanderbilt. Mandy knows what she’s doing and knows what to look for.

Mandy launched this company in 2023 when she sensed a need for a more personal approach to ultrasound diagnostics, following her own two high-risk pregnancies.

As a result of dealing with those stressful experiences, she thought there must be a better way. That was the genesis of her entrepreneurial journey and the start of her quest to deliver more compassionate care to those in need of ultrasound diagnostics. Mandy is a wife and a mother of two boys, so she knows what going through pregnancy is like and knows that ultrasound must be as stress-free as possible to help ensure a successful pregnancy for everyone involved.

While their main focus is ultrasound during pregnancy, Middle TN Ultrasound also provides the same level of caring diagnostic service for other health concerns; she does thyroid and abdominal scans as well. Middle TN Ultrasound even offers ultrasound parties where attendees can witness a gender reveal in real time.
