“Doing hair is an energy exchange,” MiMi explains. “My space has to match the peace I want my clients to feel.”

The name “MiMi” came from her late husband’s grandmother. After losing her husband while pregnant, MiMi returned to the salon as a way to reconnect with herself. In that process, she discovered something deeper.

“I realized I could help others heal too,” she says. “I could create a space I once needed.”

Opening The Thairapy Suite was her way of turning pain into purpose. She built it from the ground up, guided by faith, family, and a commitment to do things differently.
