His mother-in-law made the move first. His wife visited, fell in love with a home, and the decision was made. By 2021, Randy and his family had relocated to Iva, a small, close-knit community in the South Carolina countryside, where he now lives on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by family, including his mother-in-law across the street and his wife’s cousin next door.

The transition from the bustling Jersey Shore to rural South Carolina was a culture shift, but the peacefulness of country living has its own rewards. On a clear night, Randy can step out onto his back deck and see a sky full of stars. That kind of stillness, he says, is something you cannot put a price on.

A Career Built on Personal Purpose

The decision to go into insurance was not made lightly, and for Randy, it was deeply personal. He had family members already working in the field and saw firsthand how meaningful the work could be. But it was also shaped by experiences closer to home.

Randy lost his father to a congestive heart attack when he was just 22 years old. His mother, a lifelong smoker, later passed from lung cancer. Those losses changed him. He quit smoking after his mother died and became serious about health and wellness, both for himself and the people around him. Health, he came to understand, is not something you can afford to take for granted.

That personal history gives Randy a perspective that goes beyond policy numbers and premium costs. When he sits down with a client, he brings genuine empathy and an understanding of what is truly at stake.

Medicare can be confusing, and for many people turning 65, the process of sorting through plan options, coverage gaps, and eligibility requirements is overwhelming. That is exactly where Randy comes in.

He loved it not because of the technical instruction but because of the joy in it. Kids do not need much teaching, he says, they just need someone to lead them and they will go. That same spirit of enthusiastic guidance carries into his work every day.

Family, Service, and Starry Carolina Nights

Randy is a proud father of three. His eldest son, 27, is currently serving in the United States Navy aboard the USS Higgins, stationed somewhere out at sea. His second son is 22, and his daughter is 15. Family clearly anchors everything Randy does, from the reasons he moved to South Carolina to the values he brings to his business every single day.

He is also a die-hard sports fan. A New Jersey native, he follows the New York Yankees, but his true passion is college football, specifically Notre Dame, where his loyalty stretches back to 1988.
