Tim Neal loves to help people. That’s why he joined the military some years ago and continues to do so for FloodPros as their Business Development Manager. Despite only working with FloodPros for less than a year, Tim has already come to value the work they do in helping people recover from damage caused by unexpected disasters.
“I know first hand that nobody can do it on their own. I learned that as a First Sergeant in the Air Force,” Tim said. “Especially when these things happen—when your house is flooded or damaged—that’s when people realize they need help. And I genuinely look forward to being able to help people through these situations.”
For Tim and the team at FloodPros, it’s all about treating people as people. Focusing on creating a relationship with their clients sets FloodPros apart from others who might jump to do the bare minimum amount of work just to finish a job.
“We want our customers to feel taken care of,” Tim emphasized. “We want them to know they aren’t just a number to us. We truly care about them, and that’s not just words: we mean it!”
FloodPros primarily focuses on restoring homes and offices that have been damaged by water, sewage, fire, or mold. However, Tim is always searching for other ways he can help people in need. Leveraging his relationships with plumbers, Tim has arranged to get a sprinkler irrigation system installed and donated to a disabled veteran. Since retiring from the Air Force, he continues his passion for helping those who serve our country. He is heading up a division of Wish for our Heroes here in Utah.
Wish for our Heroes is a national foundation dedicated to helping families deal with the secondary effects of military service. The priority is always to grant basic needs or emergencies first—anything from putting food on the table to assisting with car repairs or baby supplies.
“Wish for our Heroes is a fantastic organization that 100% supports military families in need,” Tim added. “Military life is difficult, and Wish for our Heroes helps families deals with burdens caused by deployment, family separation, and more.”
Wish for our Heroes has granted nearly 3,000 wishes to date. They continue to garner nationwide support, including former Utah Jazz guard George Hill and long-time head coach of the San Antonio Spurs, Greg Popovich.
“You can find Wish for our Heroes online through Facebook or at tradeshows and events. In fact, we did an event at the Layton Commons Park in June called Sounds of Freedom. It was free to attend, and there were lots of prizes and food.”
If businesses or individuals are interested in donating to or learning more about Wish for Heroes, you can find more information on their website (link: https://www.wishforourheroes.org/?fbclid=IwAR3mPVIkyugEgmSeobDi0vvkKzW5t2Pobv5-4uIlZaKkZRQ6v0v1PlkR69s),
