In a quiet corner of Connecticut, Michael Levesque is building more than just furniture—he’s building a brand powered by passion, precision, and a lot of heart. Grizlys Workbench is a one-man studio specializing in custom, handcrafted pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

After being laid off, Michael decided to turn his lifelong hobby of woodworking into a business. With 15 years of experience making furniture for friends and family, he launched Grizlys Workbench. Just three months in, his custom pieces are already gaining local buzz.
Big-box stores can’t match your vision. Designer furniture often lacks soul. That’s where Michael steps in. His motto? “Give me your dream, and I’ll build it.” Whether it’s a rustic bench or a dual-purpose dog crate nightstand, every piece is thoughtfully crafted and built to last.

Michael loves the meticulous parts of woodworking most people avoid. That obsession with detail makes each project special. And because he works solo, every piece is hands-on from start to finish.
Born and raised in Bristol, Michael serves the greater Connecticut area and dreams of expanding across New England. He gives back too—offering discounts to teachers, first responders, and military families, and donating work to local businesses like Humble Hounds.
Have a furniture idea you’ve never seen before? That’s what Michael loves most. Bring him your creative vision, and he’ll bring it to life.
When he’s not in the shop, Michael hikes, plays bass guitar, and games. But woodworking is where his heart truly is. Grizlys Workbench isn’t just about furniture—it’s about turning imagination into something real.
