In the heart of Burlington, North Carolina, Faith Ellis is quietly transforming lives through strength, mindset, and movement. As the founder of The Kettlebell, she’s on a mission to help women reclaim their health and confidence—not through restrictive weight loss plans, but through empowering fitness coaching that works from the inside out.
Faith’s online platform, The Kettlebelel, offers fitness coaching that blends strength training, nutrition, and mindset mentorship. With programs accessible from anywhere, clients can benefit from her expertise through fitness and nutrition e-books, as well as personalized coaching tailored to busy women—especially moms and professionals ages 25 to 45.
The workouts are intentionally designed for efficiency. “Most of our workouts use a single tool—kettlebells—so they can be done anywhere, at any time,” says Faith. This flexibility has become a core strength of her business.
Faith’s passion for kettlebell training stems from her own journey. After years of struggling to find joy in traditional fitness routines, she discovered the unique benefits of kettlebells about four years ago. “It became something I looked forward to every day. It’s fun, effective, and combines cardio and strength,” she explains.
Fitness became more than physical for her—it became a means to manage mental health. “We don’t position our programs as just weight loss solutions. Fitness is a powerful tool for mental resilience. You need to change your brain chemistry to stay consistent and see long-term success.”
Faith’s story is one of resilience. With a background shaped by a difficult childhood, she has forged her own path, building both a business and a mission rooted in independence and drive. “There’s no backup plan. This has to work,” she shares, describing the grit and determination behind The Kettlebelle.
Now two years in, Faith wears all the hats: coach, marketer, content creator, and brand manager. And the work is paying off—her YouTube following has surged from just 100 to nearly 6,000 subscribers in the past year alone.
Although The Kettlebelle is primarily online, Faith stays connected locally by hosting pop-up classes during warmer months. These events often support the local animal shelter, with all proceeds donated directly to the cause.
She also values the spirit of collaboration in Burlington. “Even though it’s a smaller town, the community is very close-knit. If you reach out to other business owners, they’re ready to work with you and support one another.”
In a crowded digital fitness space, Faith stands out not just for her programming—but for her integrity. She’s a certified professional who responds personally to messages, emails, and client questions. “I want people to feel confident not just in the program, but in me as a coach,” she says.
While she doesn’t currently offer discounts, Faith hopes to eventually make her programs more accessible to underserved communities. “Health and fitness shouldn’t be a luxury item.”
When she’s not coaching, Faith loves traveling—both internationally and locally—reading (especially true crime and personal development books), and spending time with friends hiking, kayaking, or exploring new places.
With growing engagement, increased brand awareness, and a clear vision, Faith is excited for what’s ahead. “The passion for kettlebells is spreading. People who never used them before are now integrating them into their lives after discovering our videos. That momentum is just the beginning.
Whether you’re new to fitness or looking for a more empowering approach, The Kettlebelle offers a unique and thoughtful path. Learn more or reach out with questions at www.thekettlebelle.com— and don’t forget to follow Faith on social media to see her latest workouts and tips.
