Brothers Michael and Matthew Silvano have been running the shop between themselves for over 15 years. They provide the community with a neighborhood grocery that carries a wide selection of all deli items, Italian imports, and grocery items.

Michael and Matthew were born and raised in Philadelphia. Michael is a Flyers fan. He says that the most significant thing that has ever happened to him is going into business with his brother. The store they are currently in was an established business in the area when they purchased it from the former Owners who were ready to retire. Both Michael and Matthew are married, and Matthew has a son and a daughter. Michael says that the best thing about living in Philadelphia is “the people, the comradery, the friendliness of its Citizens”.

He replied with “The best stop in South Philly!” He feels that what sets them apart from the competition is “the variety and quality of their products, plus their friendly customer service”.
