After 8 years in the Marines and a 13 years career in supply chain management, George launched Salutaris Fitness from his home office in Fort Worth, Texas. With distribution hubs in five states, the company now delivers premium health supplements and fitness gear to customers across the U.S.

“You can walk into any pharmacy and buy a protein powder,” George says, “but most are loaded with chemicals, artificial sweeteners, and low-quality dairy. We wanted better.”

Though George runs the business largely on his own, it’s far from a solo journey. His young son proudly represents the brand at fitness events, often helping at the table in a tiny company t-shirt. His girlfriend provides key support behind the scenes, and George credits two former mentors from his Walmart supply chain career with helping guide him through challenges and decisions.
With a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and over a decade in logistics, George has optimized his fulfillment process. Most orders are processed the same day and delivered within just a few days.
“We’re not Amazon fast, but we’re not your average small business either,” he says.
A longtime supporter of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, George donated all proceeds from Black Friday through the holiday season last year to support the cause.
