Transform, Triumph, Thrive: How One Veteran Is Redefining Holistic Health Through Salutaris Health and Fitness.
For George O’Brien, Salutaris Fitness isn’t just a business—it’s the culmination of decades of passion, military discipline, and personal transformation.
After 8 years in the Marines and a 13 years career in supply chain management, George launched Salutaris Fitness from his home office in Fort Worth, Texas. With distribution hubs in five states, the company now delivers premium health supplements and fitness gear to customers across the U.S.
Unlike many supplement brands, Salutaris Fitness stands out for its unwavering commitment to natural, high-quality ingredients.
“You can walk into any pharmacy and buy a protein powder,” George says, “but most are loaded with chemicals, artificial sweeteners, and low-quality dairy. We wanted better.”
The brand’s best-selling product is a Joint Support Formula, designed to naturally reduce joint pain and support mobility. It’s especially popular among customers recovering from injuries or looking for long-term joint health—and boasts the highest rate of repeat buyers across the product line.
Another standout is their Nootropic Formula for cognitive support. Inspired by George’s personal journey of replacing Adderall with natural brain-boosting ingredients, this formula has become a game-changer for many.
“We’ve had customers write in saying it helped them get off prescription meds,” he shares.
Beyond supplements, Salutaris also offers yoga gear, fitness apparel, and organic protein powders—all developed without the toxic additives commonly found in mass-market alternatives.
Integrity runs deep in the brand’s DNA. When a sponsored athlete publicly promoted steroid use, George made the difficult decision to end the partnership—despite the sales it brought in.
“That was a crossroads moment,” he says. “We chose our values over profit.”
Each decision made by Salutaris Fitness centers around trust, transparency, and long-term health—values that resonate deeply with their loyal customer base.
Though George runs the business largely on his own, it’s far from a solo journey. His young son proudly represents the brand at fitness events, often helping at the table in a tiny company t-shirt. His girlfriend provides key support behind the scenes, and George credits two former mentors from his Walmart supply chain career with helping guide him through challenges and decisions.
With a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and over a decade in logistics, George has optimized his fulfillment process. Most orders are processed the same day and delivered within just a few days.
“We’re not Amazon fast, but we’re not your average small business either,” he says.
A longtime supporter of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, George donated all proceeds from Black Friday through the holiday season last year to support the cause. It’s part of a nearly 20-year tradition of giving back—a reflection of both his military roots and the purpose-driven spirit behind Salutaris Fitness.
The company also honors military members and first responders with exclusive discounts year-round.
George envisions Salutaris Fitness becoming a widely recognized symbol of trustworthy wellness.
“I want people to see our logo and instantly think: health, quality, integrity.”
Whether you’re an athlete, a busy parent, or simply someone seeking cleaner health products, Salutaris Fitness offers more than just supplements—it offers a promise of wellness built on purpose.
His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?
“Don’t quit on the hard days.”
Whether you’re healing, training, or simply aiming to live healthier—Salutaris Fitness is here to support your journey with clean, effective supplements made with integrity.
