Eujon S. Hughes is not your typical life coach. Based in Kingwood, Texas, Eujon is a dynamic force in both personal development and community empowerment. A former licensed school counselor, she turned her professional expertise into a purpose-driven life coaching business that serves a wide audience ranging from adolescents to adults.
Her business, Bridging the Gap Life Coaching and Transformation Academy LLC, offers personalized coaching across six core niches: relationship and family coaching, small group sessions, work-life balance, scholastic and student-athlete development, career transitions, and professional development. Eujon combines academic know-how with emotional intelligence to help people navigate life with clarity and confidence.

In addition to her coaching practice, Eujon created the Transformation Home Fragrance and Wellness Collection. This line includes scented candles, inspirational home décor, clothing, car accessories, and garden flags—all designed to uplift and empower through positivity.
She is also a published author with books available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Her writing extends the same themes she practices daily: healing, empowerment, and personal growth.
Never one to stop at just one mission, Eujon also founded Bridging for Change Foundation, Incorporated. Launched on January 16, 2025, the nonprofit is built around four pillars: supporting domestic violence survivors, aiding single mothers, providing scholarships to HBCU-bound students, and helping new entrepreneurs launch their businesses.
Though still in its early stages, the foundation is steadily building momentum and seeking funding to expand its outreach and services.
Eujon’s drive comes from deeply personal experiences. A survivor of domestic violence, she transformed adversity into purpose. Her journey from special education teacher to school counselor to life coach is one of resilience and reinvention.
The name “Bridging the Gap” is more than just a brand—it reflects her life story. As someone often called upon for help and guidance in her community, the title echoes her ability to connect people with the resources and clarity they need to thrive.
Outside of business, Eujon is incredibly active in civic and community work. She holds leadership roles in her sorority and local alumni chapters, contributes to major community events, and supports student recruitment and scholarships. She’s a Girl Scout troop leader and involved parent, embodying her belief that change starts at home and in the community.
What makes her journey especially inspiring is how much she has accomplished solo. Without a team or tech background, she manages her websites, creates social content, writes books, and builds product lines. She’s currently working to merge her coaching and product websites into one seamless platform to better serve her audience.
Though resources are tight, her dedication remains strong. She’s hoping to expand marketing efforts to bring in a consistent client base and better support her long-term vision: to create generational wealth and leave a legacy for her daughter.
Eujon has lived in Texas since 2005 and treasures the area’s tranquility, nature, and community spirit. Known as “The Livable Forest,” Kingwood offers the perfect backdrop for her holistic work. Whether working with clients remotely or in person, she brings a grounded yet visionary presence that resonates throughout her coaching and advocacy.
From life coaching to community leadership, product creation to nonprofit direction, Eujon Hughes embodies the spirit of a local hero. Her multifaceted work proves that with passion, perseverance, and heart, one person really can make a lasting difference. To learn more you can visit her website here.
