After 30 years of corporate project management, Gina Suarez MacMillan took a bold leap into entrepreneurship. Trading in project plans for floral centerpieces, she launched Celebrated Gatherings and Events, a full-service event planning business based in Snohomish, Washington. Gina is now bringing her unique blend of creativity and organization to clients across the Pacific Northwest.

Celebrated Gatherings and Events caters to a wide range of occasions, from intimate dinner parties and weddings to corporate retreats and community celebrations. Gina’s business is rooted in her deep love for planning, her ability to understand client visions, and her passion for creating memorable moments. She says, “I always ask my clients to tell me their dream vision without thinking about budget—then it becomes my job to make it happen within their means.”
Although Gina’s official business is new, her experience runs deep. She’s been planning weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and private celebrations informally for decades. “People always knew I had the gift for design and planning,” she explains. Now, she’s channeling those years of hands-on experience into a business that officially launched with a bang on July 4th.
Gina’s services go beyond logistics. She views her work as a way to serve others and eliminate the stress and decision fatigue that can come with event planning. From selecting venues and vendors to handling day-of coordination, Gina brings not only her expertise but also empathy and intuition to the table. Her approach is personal, collaborative, and always creative.

While rooted in Snohomish, Washington, Gina serves clients throughout Greater Washington and the Pacific Northwest. Her ideal clients range from small business owners planning employee appreciation events to brides who need full-service coordination. Regardless of the event size or type, Gina brings the same level of enthusiasm and detail to every project.
What distinguishes Celebrated Gatherings and Events is Gina’s combination of creativity, reliability, and dedication. She’s known for her vendor relationships, ability to adapt to different client personalities, and sharp eye for design. Whether a bride comes in with a 100-pin Pinterest board or no clue at all, Gina can turn a few ideas into a stunning experience.
Community service is also central to Gina’s mission. She supports nonprofits in the Dominican Republic and regularly donates her time and services for local causes. She’s planned events pro bono for schools and local families and is exploring collaborations with rescue organizations. “To whom much is given, much is expected,” she says.
Though the business is just taking off, the momentum is strong. Gina is excited to appear at several local wedding shows and has already gained clients through word-of-mouth. With a robust launch plan and a customer portal in the works, she is building a solid foundation for long-term success.
Having lived in Washington since 1990, Gina says she couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home. She and her family enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, gardening, and exploring farmers markets. “It’s green, clean, and a great place to build something beautiful,” she says.
Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate holiday party, or a backyard baby shower, Gina Suarez MacMillan is ready to bring your vision to life. With decades of experience and a heart for people, she makes every gathering a celebration.
