Isaiah and his former business partner, who has since left the business, came up with the name for the shop. Isiah decided to keep the name, because after all, they DO give the Supreme, best cut you can get. The shop caters to men of all ages, and all walks of life. Anyone looking for a fresh, new look. Supreme Cutz serves the Seattle area, but has clients coming from as far away as 40 miles. Isaiah has been in business for 18 years.

I got to know Isaiah a little better by asking a few questions about him. First was why he went into the haircutting business. He replied “I personally love cutting hair. I am a people person who likes making people feel good about themselves”. Isaiah has lived in Seattle for the last 25 years. He likes both the Seahawks and the Sonics. He has three daughters. In his spare time he likes to golf and play basketball.

Supreme Cutz has 5 additional barbers. I asked Isaiah if he’d like to mention anyone in particular. He said, “I would like to give a shout out to Jose, our longtime shop manager, and thank him for his loyalty and his longevity with our business”. The tag line for the business is “Reflection of Perfection”, and they work hard at demonstrating this in everything that they do.

Isaiah never wants to hold anyone back from furthering themselves in life. He feels that if he can teach someone something, then he has done his work. I asked him what the most significant event that has ever happened to him was, and this was his response, “The fact that barbers that worked for Supreme Cutz build their own clientele and expertise, have been able to move on and open their own shops”. His most memorable client interactions are cutting pro athletes, rappers and entertainers hair.
