For the past 7 years, Timmothy Calloway, owner of Eagle Eye Tax Services, has been sharing his tax strategies with business owners in his hometown, Milwaukee.
“What makes Timmothy different than other tax service providers is Timmothy is a qualified EA (Enrolled Agent) specialist. He is an expert in dealing with I.R.S. Resolutions and financial planning.
Why does that matter?
With so many business owners going through some major adjustments in their companies during this pandemic, you need someone who can microfocus, someone who can identify how to grow your business, and represent you in front of the IRS to help solve your tax challenges.
Timmothy Calloway is a family man who loves giving back to his community and is a raving Packers fan. If we could put a cape on him, we might just call him a Local Biz Hero, a self-made entrepreneur who brings true value to his community. He believes in “High Standards” of professionalism, a strong work ethic, combined with a positive attitude, and a passion to serve others.
Timmothy believes that the Milwaukee community is a great place to raise a family and build a business because Milwaukee residents are resilient. They know how to pull together and push through hard times.
We sat down with Timmothy for a quick interview –
Q: Why did you become a Tax Advisor and Financial Consultant?
A: “I am an entrepreneur who always wanted to run my own business. I understood that to build a successful business you need to know your numbers. So I started this journey to educate myself and help out my family members. What I soon realized is that I love consulting with people, helping them solve problems, and find ways to grow their business so they can keep more of the profits. My passion for learning, forecasting, and problem-solving has now turned into a business consulting and I.R.S. resolution company that I absolutely love!”
Q: What is your education?
A: “I graduated with 3 majors with honors in 3.5 yrs. I received my master’s from The Ohio State University, specializing in Audits. Once I dedicated my career to helping clients understand their numbers, I went and got a 2nd master’s from UW-Milwaukee in TaxaNon to further develop tax planning strategies.”
Q: What are your strengths?
A: Being someone who works with the public, it’s important to be able to relate to people, be personable, and build trust. I am not some nerdy numbers person. I want to know my clients, what their goals are, and develop a tax and financial strategy that will help them achieve their dreams. I genuinely care about the people I serve.
Q: If you could share one tip with the readers for choosing a tax service, what would it be?
A: “There are many tax service providers, but for a business owner, you need someone who can look at the whole picture and dial into tax strategies, problem-solving, entity structuring, and financial planning. There is a difference between tax preparation and tax planning. A tax preparer files tax returns while a tax advisor helps you grow a profitable business.”
