A Passion Turned Purpose

With over a decade in the hair industry, Nina’s journey took a new direction after hand surgeries forced her to step away from hairstyling. Inspired by loved ones dealing with hair loss, she became certified in cranial prosthetics and launched Crown Your Rx in November 2023. “Understanding both the medical and styling sides of hair loss makes me the total package,” she says.

Nina mentions, “A lot of people don’t realize it’s a lot more accessible than people think! All they need is for their doctor to state in their records they have hair loss for most health insurances to cover some, if not all, of their cranial prosthesis!”

Community is at the heart of Crown Your Rx. Nina’s mission includes donating a cranial prosthesis every month to cancer patients through organizations like the National Cancer Association. Her 2025 goal? To serve 300 clients, expand her reach across Arkansas, and raise awareness about cranial prosthetics.

A Conway native, Nina is active in local networking groups and medical associations, growing her business while staying true to her core values. When she’s not empowering clients, she enjoys gospel singing, family time, and indulging in her favorite stuffed crust pizza from Pizza Hut!
