“We just fell in love with the city,” Brandon shares. “Everyone likes to give Indiana a hard time because it is a little flat and most of the things are going to be corn outside of the downtown city. But getting here, getting connected, making friends, those things are really great. We love a lot of the people we’ve met here.”

Now settled on the south side with his wife and three children, Brandon appreciates the balanced lifestyle Indiana offers. His oldest child just started kindergarten this year, and the family has found a welcoming community where they can put down roots. “We love just the culture and the environment, a little bit more laid back where we’re at on the south side, but it still has a lot of the fun aspects of things to do,” he explains.

BK Foam Party operates primarily from late March or early April through October, coinciding with warmer weather when outdoor activities are most appealing. “If it gets down below freezing, we can’t use our machines,” Brandon explains. “Normally, once it’s above around 45 degrees, some kids might start doing it, but most of our season is the later half of March through October.”
