Bob and Jewania Zarbo

For the past 11 years, Bob and Jewania Zarbo of Heartland Solar have been actively offering affordable solar panels, renewable energy, and cutting-edge energy-saving products. They design and build solar systems for both residential and commercial properties.

Bob and Jewania Zarbo are the co-owners of Heartland Constructors LLC, the parent company of Heartland Solar. Bob is a Navy Vietnam Veteran with 10 years of service. They each have over 40 years of experience in the power industry spanning five continents, including a five-year stint in Iraq. Their experience covers nuclear, conventional, and renewable energy.

They believe in American-made products and industrial quality engineering and construction. 6 years ago, based on their track record, they were asked by their distributor to join them in Odessa as the area is under-served by Solar Companies. They now serve the residents of West Texas, which includes the regions of Amarillo in the northwest, Lubbock, and Midland Odessa. They are dedicating their efforts to small to mid-size markets that would otherwise be without the opportunity to join the Solar Revolution.

Bob and Jewania Zarbo is what we like to call a Local Biz Hero, a couple with an entrepreneurial attitude that brings true value to their communities and who has 2 children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandkids.

Do not take it from me, just look at what some of their grateful clients say about their work on Google:

  1. Great Company! So easy to work with. They actually know what they’re talking about. Most knowledgeable company in the area! I highly recommend them. Real professionals. I just sent a bill, and they made me a package and took the time to explain everything. No surprises, no hidden fees, and very friendly. We are about to sign the contract for extra panels and a backup generator.

  2. “Bob and Ruben were great to work with and answered all of our questions and concerns. Looking forward to saving money on our winter residence.”

We sat down with Bob for a quick interview –

Q:
Why do you do what you do?

A: “I spent 10 years with the Navy in Vietnam. Being a veteran as a mechanical engineer, I joined the power industry in which I served for 40 years. I met my wife Jewania and my current business partner in the same industry, and she was also passionate about the power and renewable energy business. Together, we have been to 5 continents, spent time in multiple countries working in power plants both in the US and as far as Iraq, Jordan, and India. When we retired 11 years ago, we wanted to start our own business to stay busy instead of spending time at home. Since we both have a common business interest, we started in the solar energy business. Initially, we started in Las Vegas, but soon we found that West Texas would be an ideal place for us to continue our solar business, and since then, we now have two locations. One in Lubbock, and another in Midland Odessa.

Q:
What sets you apart from the competition?

A: “We are local, veterans, and have 40 years of experience in the power industry business. We are not a cookie-cutter solar energy company. We are involved in all phases of a project lifecycle that includes selling, designing, and building as opposed to sales reps knocking on people’s doors and selling the contract to a contracting company of their choosing. Our customers will have a unique competitive advantage from our one-stop-shop solution, and this is what we tell people when we go to trade shows. On the residential side, we use 100% American products, which is very uncommon in this business. Finally, we are licensed, bonded, and insured having Texas Electrical Contractor License (TECL) number 32124.

Q:
If you could share one tip with the readers for choosing a Solar Power Expert, what would it be?

A: “Make sure that they are transparent in their communication and that they’re licensed, bonded, and insured. In addition to that, inquire about them in the communities they serve either in person or online and determine whether they provide a cookie-cutter solution or a custom-designed solution that best fits the customer. “

For those of you who are looking for quality, professional, licensed, bonded, insured, and result-driven Solar Energy Experts who can help you save money on your power bills, then Bob and Jewania Zarbo from Heartland Solar should be your first choice.

The Heartland Solar team has associations with a wide variety of professional organizations like The American Legion, The VFW (Veterans of Foreign War), Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, and West Texas Home Builders Association (WTHBA). The Heartland Solar team also makes it a point to provide discounts to veterans and first responders on a case-by-case basis instead of offering a blanket discount because they’re confident about their quality of work and results. They also offer a huge referral program worth $1000. Call Bob and Jewania Zarbo at (432)-530-7719, or visit www.heartlandsolartx.com to schedule a free consultation.
