For the past 2 years, Didi Ghelmegeanu and his Desert Termite team have been waging war against termites and other pests in the greater Phoenix area.
“What makes us different is that we offer a 5-year warranty on our work. This is much longer than most other companies.”
Didi, the owner of desert termites, is an Arizona native, born in Phoenix and living in Glendale for the past 20 years. Didi is what we like to call a Local Biz Hero, a self-made entrepreneur who brings true value to his community. High standards of professionalism and the strong work ethics of small business owners like Didi are the infrastructures of the Phoenix and Glendale economy.
Every dollar that Didi makes goes back to supporting the local business ecosystem and the community. He is happy to provide discounts to 1st responders, military and law enforcement personnel.
We sat down with Didi for a quick interview.
Q: Why do you do what you do?
A: “Every day is different, and I love meeting new people.”
Q: What was the most unusual situation that ever happened to you on the job?
A: “I was once called to a house because of bedbugs. When I asked them to show me the bedbugs, all I saw was little pieces of lint. I also noted that they seemed to be high on drugs and were insistent that they had bedbugs. I said that I had to get some equipment from my truck and left, never to return.”
Q: If you could share one tip with the readers for choosing a termite company, what would it be?
A: “Read reviews.”
For those of you, who are looking for a professional termite exterminator, Didi, and the desert termite team should be your 1st choice. Call Didi at (602) 677-0132 or visit deserttermites.com.
