“I wanted to make sure people knew that we were more than just a rock band,” Moyer says. “We’re a ministry. We’re here to share faith, hope, and music.”

“Our bass player lost his sound, the drummer broke his pedal, and somehow, my guitar was the only thing coming through,” he laughs. “We just kept going. The crowd loved it, and honestly, that’s what music is all about—pushing through and giving it everything you’ve got.”

Then there was the time they showed up to a venue, only to realize the organizers thought they were a polka band.

“We had our rock gear set up, ready to go, and we’re looking at the audience like, ‘Uh… no accordions here!’” Todd jokes. “But we made it work.”

Family, Faith, and the Power of Music

Beyond the stage, faith and family are at the core of who Todd Moyer is. Married for over 35 years, with two daughters, Moyer balances his life as a musician with his role as a husband and father.

“We make sure to have family time,” he shares. “We do movie nights in the backyard, just hanging out and enjoying being together.”

His wife also plays a vital role in the band’s operations. “She’s not on stage, but she’s a huge part of everything we do—helping with finances, planning, and making sure things run smoothly.”

And at the heart of it all? Ministry.

“Music is my calling,” Moyer says.
