In a fast-paced, high-stress world, true wellness often feels just out of reach. But in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan, a quietly revolutionary space offers something different—a place where light, sound, and intention converge to help people heal, rest, and reconnect with themselves. This is Harmonic Egg & Wellness GR, founded by local wellness advocate Courtney Yarch—and it’s changing lives, one session at a time.

Courtney didn’t set out to become an “Egg Guardian.” She’s been a fitness instructor for 25 years and health coach for 2 years, guiding people toward stronger bodies and calmer minds through Pilates, nutrition, and integrative health. But she noticed something troubling: even people who ate well and exercised regularly were still struggling with chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and illness.
She knew there had to be more to true wellness than diet and exercise alone.
Everything changed when Courtney visited a Harmonic Egg in Bay City, Michigan. Skeptical but curious, she experienced a profound shift not only during the session but in the days that followed. For the first time in years, she felt a deep sense of mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical ease. Her husband, Brian, noticed the change and decided to try it for himself. Soon, they were both convinced: West Michigan needed this.
By January 15, 2025, Harmonic Egg & Wellness GR was open for business—with not one, but two full-sized Harmonic Eggs ready to welcome the community.
Each egg is an 11-foot by 9-foot resonance chamber built with sacred geometry principles. During a session, Courtney selects specific light and sound frequencies based on each client’s personal intentions—whether it’s easing joint pain, improving sleep, reducing stress, or working through grief.
Unlike sensory deprivation tanks, the Harmonic Egg offers sensory immersion. Clients don’t just zone out—they tune in. The carefully selected frequencies interact with the body’s own energy, often resulting in tangible sensations of warmth, vibration, or release in areas where energy has been stagnant. Many clients report relief from chronic pain, better mental focus, improved digestion, and a renewed sense of emotional balance.
“It’s all about bringing the nervous system back into harmony,” Courtney explains. “When your body isn’t stuck in fight-or-flight mode, real healing can happen.”

Courtney’s background as a health coach and group fitness instructor shines through in her commitment to community. She hosts free monthly “First Friday” events, bringing in local practitioners like naturopathic doctors and acupuncturists to share their knowledge. She’s also a proud supporter of local causes, recently creating mystery gift bags to raise funds for a breast cancer survivor in the community.
She even hosted 14 artists during Grand Rapids’ internationally renowned ArtPrize competition, using her space to celebrate both art and wellness.
Clients of all ages and backgrounds have experienced profound shifts after time in the Egg. One client in her 80s, a breast cancer survivor, began sessions feeling frail and depleted. After regular visits, she regained energy, mental clarity, and a joyful outlook she thought she’d lost. Another client with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome—a connective tissue disorder—experienced significant pain relief and improved mobility after just one session.
“I don’t treat or cure diseases,” Courtney is careful to say. “But I help create the conditions that allow the body to heal itself.”
Courtney was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area and is deeply connected to its people and rhythms. She loves that her studio sits in the East Hills neighborhood, surrounded by boutique shops, local restaurants, and a strong sense of community. Whether she’s teaching Pilates, leading a wellness workshop, or guiding clients inside the Egg, her mission is the same: to help people feel better, inside and out.
As Harmonic Egg & Wellness GR approaches its first anniversary, Courtney looks forward to expanding her offerings and continuing to serve those seeking a more balanced, peaceful, and healthy life. With 71 five-star reviews and a growing number of regular clients, it’s clear she’s tapped into something special—a frequency of hope, health, and heart.
