Being a mother to a young girl, Krystal loves educating and empowering young girls about the basics of self-care both with regards to health and beauty. We sat down with Krystal for a quick interview –

Q: Why do you do what you do?

A: “I always loved the beauty & fashion industry. I have been a nurse practitioner for over 10 years, and I have always had a passion for the health industry. I love making difference in people’s lives and love taking care of my clients by either changing things around with their healthcare or health conditions.”

Q: How did you get into this profession?

A: “Four and a half years ago, I started to learn about the aesthetic industry, and I fell in love with aesthetics, and the medspa industry, and all the different things that were going on with the health and beauty industry. Soon after that, I started taking interest in all the innovations with regards to enhancing the appearance of the body, sculpt, and face. I combined my love for nursing, and the medical industry with my love and passion for health, fashion, beauty, and the aesthetic industry. In general, my career in the business allows me to take care of the health of my clients and enhance their natural beauty. Finally, during the pandemic when I was furloughed from my full-time Nurse practitioner job, I took this business full time and never looked back since then”.

Q: If you could share one tip with the readers for choosing a Medical Spa, what would it be?

A: “I would say choose a medical spa that invests in your education and their products, and are very knowledgeable about their products, and that they enjoy helping clients, and want to see them excel. Make sure that they understand different demographics in their client pool and understand their needs.
