Some people turn their pain into power, and Lo’ren Diaz is a living example of that transformation. A survivor of domestic violence and human trafficking, she has dedicated her life to helping others heal—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. As the Clinical Director of Victory Village Wellness Center in Oklahoma City, Lo’ren provides a holistic approach to healing, offering trauma care, wellness treatments, and community outreach to support survivors.
Her journey from victim to visionary is one of resilience, faith, and determination, and her mission is clear: to help others break free from their past and step into a future of hope and healing.
Lo’ren’s personal story is one of overcoming unimaginable adversity. “I am a survivor of domestic violence and human trafficking,” she shares. “I was trafficked from the age of six to sixteen. My healing didn’t truly begin until I was 34 years old.”
After escaping the cycle of abuse, she built a life for herself, finishing high school and pursuing higher education in nursing and medical school. But her journey took another turn when she found herself recruiting other women into the same system she had once been trapped in.
“One day, God spoke to me,” Lo’ren says. “I realized I was on the wrong path, and I made the decision to change.” That moment marked the beginning of her mission to help other survivors find their way out.
Lo’ren co-founded Victory Village Wellness Center with a clear purpose: to create a safe space where survivors of abuse and trafficking can rebuild their lives.
Her center takes a whole-body approach to recovery, offering both physical and mental wellness services:
“We want to help women heal from the inside out,” she explains. “It’s not just about physical scars—it’s about helping them find their strength again.”
Lo’ren believes that real change starts in the community. She works tirelessly to educate others about the warning signs of trafficking and abuse, training parents, teachers, and even store clerks on how to spot someone in danger.
“It’s happening everywhere—in grocery stores, schools, even daycares,” she says. “If we learn what to look for, we can stop it before it’s too late.”
Lo’ren is also deeply involved in outreach programs and advocacy work:
Lo’ren’s impact goes beyond just helping women heal—she’s changing lives. One of her most powerful success stories is a young woman named Jackson.
“She was being trafficked across the country,” Lo’ren recalls. “Through a network of sorority sisters and advocates, we helped her escape from Boston, sent her to a safe house in Utah, and finally brought her to Oklahoma City.”
Now, Jackson works alongside Lo’ren at the wellness center, using her own experience to help others. “She’s not just surviving—she’s thriving,” Lo’ren says proudly.
Lo’ren’s mission is far from over. She has big plans for the future, including:
“In five years, I want to see a world where no woman has to suffer in silence,” she says. “Healing is possible, and we are here to help.”
If you or someone you know is in need of support, Victory Village Wellness Center is here to help. Lo’ren also welcomes donations, volunteers, and community partnerships to further her mission.
