My husband just happened to overhear him because it was on speakerphone and he jumped into the conversation, which really helped. Ultimately, because I had a better attitude and showed more patience during the whole transaction, our side ended up having a better deal than his side did in the end. So, I guess it works to just try to kill them with kindness, you know?” she chuckles.

Leilani’s journey into real estate was also driven by family needs. After finishing college, she spent years as a stay-at-home mom. But when some extended family moved in, she needed to find a career that would provide financial stability while still being present for her family. “Real estate offered a way to support my family without pulling from my husband’s income,” she explains.
