The name “Body by Snow Jay” has a special meaning. Snow and her husband, Fred Jaramillo, came up with it together. Snow recalls, “I think I suggested ‘Body,’ and Fred added ‘by Snow Jay.’ It just felt right, like naming a perfume.”

Fred played a critical role in the development of the brand’s first products, including their signature yoni oil and yoni soap. Snow was so impressed by the effectiveness of these products that she knew they had something unique. While her husband pursued his passion for photography, Snow contemplated starting her own venture to enable their research and product development to continue. With Fred’s encouragement, she dove headfirst into product research and development, expanding her line to include body sprays, rollers, and more.
