Miami Body Shop Wants To See You Smiling Again!

Alexis Paint and Body Shop

At a young age, Alexis discovered that he had a passion for working with cars. When he was twelve years old, he started working on them in his native homeland of Cuba. This passion of his drove him to open his own auto body shop after he moved to Miami, Florida. Alexis and his shop grew to become local favorites in the community because of their great prices, hard work, and amazing quality. After more than twenty years in business, Alexis partnered up with his daughter, Fanny, to help him manage the day-to-day operations of the shop.

When Alexis became ill, Fanny, also a realtor, decided to step in and focus entirely on running the body shop. After facing difficulties when she first started, she soon grew to love it. She loves the challenge because every car is different. She also loves the fact that although people come in frustrated from either being in an accident or from having other car problems, they end up leaving happy with a smile on their face and a car that looks as good as new. After Alexis passed, Fanny became the sole owner of the body shop. It only felt right to her to keep the shop’s name as a tribute to her father’s legacy and to honor all of his hard work over the years.

When the Covid-19 pandemic was at its peak, Fanny’s husband, Yimy, a marketing specialist, decided to join forces with her and help the business grow. He also grew to love it and has enjoyed working with his wife as they have created a team whose main objective is customer satisfaction. What sets them apart from other body shops is that they are truly a family-owned and run business that puts others first. They genuinely treat others how they want to be treated and no one ever feels like they are being ripped off.

“Many people don’t know how to open claims to protect themselves and fix their vehicles to their original form. We truly put ourselves in the other person’s shoes. We want to help them and guide them through every step of the process,” Fanny said. Their motto is, “Your 1-Stop Body Shop Solution.” And it’s true because they offer a range of different services including collision repair, complete auto paint, and detailing. They are also GSA-approved, which allows them to provide services to the United States Government through the General Services Administration (GSA). They do such a good job that they even get government vehicles from as far as Tampa. The reviews that they receive are a true testament to their work.

One customer wrote, “Best experience ever! They were reasonable with price, great communication, and excellent service! I will definitely recommend Alexis Paint and Body Shop! 5-Stars well deserved!!”

They currently have six full-time employees who are like a family to them. The body man, Allan, does a fantastic job with heavy collisions and the refinisher, Juan, is an expert when it comes to painting, to name a few of them. They are all fans of the local sports teams including the Miami Heat, the Dolphins, and the Inter Miami Soccer team. And to Fanny, the best part about living in Miami is the food and diversity.
