I got to know a bit about LaTonya by asking questions about her life. She is married with one child. Her family lives in Toano, just a few miles outside Williamsburg, where LaTonya was born and raised. I asked her what she liked best about the area, and she said, “It is a great place to raise a family!” LaTonya also runs an online business management company, ALC Concepts, LLC, that helps entrepreneurs streamline operational processes. You can find her playing video games, binge-watching her favorite shows, or enjoying her favorite coffee shops in her spare time. Her favorite coffee shops are The Tipsy Bean Cafe and The Sipping Flea.

I asked LaTonya about the most significant event that has ever happened to her. “My marriage, the birth of my child, and becoming a full-time starting my business,” she replied. LaTonya volunteers with several non-profit organizations. She is a New Zion Baptist Church member, where she serves as the Church Marketing Strategist. LaTonya has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Child Development Resources, Inc. She previously served on the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Alliance Workforce Committee as a United Way Day of Caring volunteer and a recent graduate of the LEAD of Greater Williamsburg Leadership Program (class of 2019), hosted by the Greater Williamsburg Tourism and Alliance.
