Chris Doran Wants to Represent Everyone in Phoenix Arizona!

For the past fifteen months, Chris Doran and his Doran Justice (“Doing Justice”) team of “Seriously great attorneys” have been representing clients in Phoenix, Arizona.

We sat down with Chris for a quick interview –

Q: Why do you do what you do?

A: “I have always been a people pleaser and passionate about helping others and making a difference in their lives.  I knew from 8th Grade that being able to make an impact on the community I grew up in was really important to me, so becoming a lawyer was a natural choice.”

Q: How did you get into this profession?

A: “I was previously a partner at another practice for two years before taking the leap and starting out by myself. I also coach college students on how to be great lawyers through Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Mock Trial Program.”

“I’m really proud of everything we have achieved in the last fifteen months and am grateful to everyone on the team for their commitment and work ethic and particularly my wife Ali. Chris is a talented lawyer and has participated in numerous competitions with considerable success, including First Place ASU (2013, 2014), Jenckes Closing Argument Competition; 2nd Place (2015), Oplinger Closing Argument Competition; 3rd Place (2015), ABA Representation in Mediation Competition. Chris has also achieved a Juris Doctorate Degree, Bachelor’s Degrees in Philosophy and Justice Studies, Order Of The Barristers induction, and received awards such as Janet S. Mueller Oral Advocacy Award, an award given to the top oral advocate in law school.

Q: Being an attorney that works directly with many people, we asked Chris what’s his most satisfying accomplishment so far?

A: “Last year, it was my privilege to offer free services assisting people in minority communities, setting aside convictions, and helping them get lives back on track.  One client is particularly memorable to me as I knew that this would make a huge difference to her life in the future and allow for many opportunities, which would not have been available to her.“

During his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Ali and recently born son, Brayden, coaching undergraduate students, traveling, and game nights with friends.

Q: “If you could share one tip with the readers, what would it be?

A: “Know your rights and apply your rights, that’s when the system works the best, no one should be offended by you invoking your constitutional rights.”
