In today’s fast-paced world, maintaining health and wellness often takes a backseat to daily responsibilities. However, for Hope Cruz Clark, founder of Well Balanced by Hope, health is not just a priority—it’s a mission. As a certified health coach and a champion of fitness, Hope has dedicated her career to helping women over 40 regain their vitality through nutrition, strength training, and lifestyle coaching.

Hope’s journey into health coaching is deeply personal. Growing up, she witnessed the impact of chronic illnesses within her own family, motivating her to take charge of her well-being and help others do the same. Diagnosed with high cholesterol at a young age, she transformed her lifestyle through plant-based nutrition and exercise. This commitment to health became the foundation of her business, where she now empowers others to make sustainable, life-changing decisions.
Hope’s coaching philosophy is centered around balance—helping clients achieve harmony between nutrition, fitness, stress management, and sleep. Her six-month program is designed to educate and support women in reversing aging and improving their overall health. The program includes:

Hope’s passion for health extends beyond her business—it’s a movement to change generational patterns of poor health. Having experienced the loss of close family members to preventable diseases, she is determined to educate and equip women with the tools they need to live longer, healthier lives.
While Hope is based in Maryland, her clients span across multiple states, including Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Delaware. Through virtual coaching, she provides accessible, expert guidance to women no matter where they are. Additionally, she offers in-person wellness boot camps for those who prefer hands-on training and free fitness in the park in the Spring and Summer to the community to jumpstart their fitness.
Beyond her coaching business, Hope is an active volunteer. She leads health and wellness initiatives at her church, co-captains the greeters’ ministry, and speaks at women’s events, sharing her expertise on holistic health. Her belief in community service reinforces her mission: to uplift and support others in their wellness journey.
With over a decade in the industry and two years as a full-time entrepreneur, Hope’s business is thriving. She continues to expand her reach, relying on referrals and word-of-mouth to grow her client base. As she looks to the future, her focus remains on making a lasting impact on the lives of the women she serves.
For those seeking a health transformation, Hope’s message is clear: your body has the ability to heal, and with the right guidance, you can achieve the vibrant, balanced life you deserve.
