We sat down with Osmon for a quick interview –

Q: How did you get into this profession?
A: “I went into business in order to be independent and make my own decisions. This had also been one of the most important steps of my life as I went into business for myself and learned to generate different streams of income.”

Q: Being a hairstylist, Osmon works directly with many people, we asked him what’s the most significant event that ever happened on the job?
A: One of the most remarkable events was when a staff member from Kevin Hart’s movie “Paper Soldiers” came to the barbershop. He just happened to be scouting locations. When he saw the floor design for the Alyoz Barbershop, he liked it so much that it became one of the locations shown in the movie.”

Q: If you could share one tip with the readers for choosing a hairstylist/barber, what would it be?
A: Look for someone that focuses on the client and invests his time to put extra care into their work.
