Since moving to Utah and joining Flood Pros, Lorenzo Rivera has established himself as someone who knows how to get the job done. Especially when that job deals with water, flood, sewage, mold, or fire damage caused by unexpected disasters.
“I’ve always been a person to make things happen and get things done,” Lorenzo said. “And that’s what I do with Flood Pros. No matter the problem, we listen, we understand, and we solve it.”

Unfortunately, the home disaster industry is filled with bad actors who would rather make a quick buck than fully restore your home. Lorenzo, along with the team of experts at Flood Pros instead believes in getting it right the first time. Operating on the philosophy that a good name is worth more than gold and silver, Flood Pros prides itself on its first-class customer service.
“No matter where you go, you’ll always leave an impression,” Lorenzo clarified. “And for me, one of my biggest things is to leave the home or business and positively answer, did we make a difference? Did we truly help?”
For Lorenzo, this emphasis on helping people is both a business decision as well as a personal one. Of course, building a reputation of trust can help grow his business, but Lorenzo truly believes that helping people is its own reward. That’s why home restoration is such a perfect fit for Lorenzo.
“I know it sounds cliché, but I love helping people,” Lorenzo said. “Any chance I get to change the direction of somebody’s life, I’m all for it.”

Unsurprisingly, Lorenzo’s supportive attitude extends beyond Flood Pros. Working with local police departments, Lorenzo leverages his personal experiences, failures, and successes to educate and coach at-risk youth.
“I try to be the person that I needed when I was younger,” Lorenzo said. “The whole point is to change the direction of their thought pattern. Get them to see the ‘why’ in decisions they make, so they can make better decisions moving forward.”
On top of that, Lorenzo also tries to help people through his Finding Faith Podcast (available on Apple, Spotify, Anchor, and Google Podcasts), which Lorenzo describes as a tool to motivate and inspire.
“It’s not exactly geared toward religion,” Lorenzo explained. “It’s actually more about finding faith within yourself and self-empowerment. It’s about dealing with life and life’s issues. How do you draw strength from within yourself to overcome life’s challenges?”

From Flood Pros to Finding Faith Podcast, one thing is clear about Lorenzo: he loves to help. So if you or a neighbor are in need of assistance in regards to home repair, carpet, and duct cleaning, water or mold damage, look no further than Flood Pros. Remember, even if your insurance recommends a service, you have the right to choose who you work with.
