Located in Roanoke, Virginia, Rhonda Johnson is a psychiatric mental health Nurse Practitioner offering tele-health services in the Virginia area providing security and stability to patients 18 and up in need for new patient psychiatric evaluations, help with follow up appointments, and medication management.

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a highly-educated registered nurse who provides primary or specialty care for patients. Employed as a NP for over three years, she previously worked at Carilion Clinic St. Albans Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic after obtaining her MS in Nursing from University of Phoenix, her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Purdue Global and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Liberty University. All in all, Rhonda has 10 years of nursing experience.
Rhonda’s education and experiences in healthcare made her aware of a real need, especially in rural areas, for patients to get the care they need. Having seen firsthand some of her own family needing help and witnessing the treatment they received, she knew they deserved a better quality of life. This determination and belief in helping spurred her career.

Hopeful Minds with Rhonda PLLC is registered with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), and is in the process of being credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare.
Rhonda is accepting new patients and private insurance. She is available Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with some weekend hours.
